Pen Foundation International Internship

PEN Foundation International is a dynamic 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to developing educational programs for indigenous, tribal, and nomadic communities around the world. PFI works to improve the standard of living for these particular populations without sacrificing their cultural identity and traditional way of life.

PEN Foundation is currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic, efficient and committed graduate or undergraduate students, preferably with experience in anthropology or international studies, to fill the following three positions: Program Assistant (PA) for Communication, PA for Fundraising, and PA for the International Settlement and Development project. The selected individuals ought to be interested in the migration patterns of indigenous, tribal, and nomadic peoples. Our Program Assistants will be allotted a great deal of responsibility as the organization is small.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Fundraising Program Assistant

Communications Program Assistant

International Settlement and Development Project Program Assistant

Desired Skills
Strong researching and writing ability, excellent communications skills
Interest in economic development, interest in fund raising and event planning

Minimum 20–24 hours per week, but scheduling is flexible.
The Program Assistant will report to the Program Manager.
This is an unpaid position.
